How To Lose Weight With Hypnotherapy

Losing Weight and Keeping it Off Can be Easier than you have Imagined Using Hypnotherapy.
It is up to you whether you lose weight quickly or gradually - the decision is obviously yours.
However, with Hypnotherapy I encourage people to completely overhaul their existing eating habits and replace them with a healthy and realistic eating plan. Crash diets may work initially, but as you may well have found out from experience, they tend not to last that long. You lose the weight, feel relief, then eat yourself
back to being overweight again.

Diets in themselves can be destructive as all you tend to do is think about your next meal, how many calories will it contain? What are you allowed to eat today, what did you eat yesterday, have you let yourself down by overeating etc... Food thoughts dominate your mind for most of the day - especially if you are starving yourself and craving certain foods. Then as soon as you reach your target weight, you go out and celebrate with a cake or a meal that you have been depriving yourself of for weeks, and the fat piles back on again. With hypnotherapy you can avoid all of that.

With hypnotherapy we need to find ways suitable to each individual, of changing their perception of food.
Also there can be underlying positive gains to being overweight that on a conscious level we are not aware of at all. These can be anything from avoiding going after a particular promotion at work (as perhaps this would entail giving presentations to large groups of people). We tell ourselves that "when we lose the weight and feel better about ourselves" then we will go ahead and apply for the position. There may be issues with public speaking that we haven't the courage to confront. Or we may be avoiding intimacy with our partner as we are no longer physically attracted to them (all the time we are overweight they may not be physically attracted to us either!). Hypnotherapy can identify any of these underlying positive gains.
So there are many other factors that need to be dealt with in addition to overeating and eating the wrong kinds of foods.

Once we confront our demons using hypnotherapy to find them, (if we do have any that is) and become happy with ourselves as individuals, we can then address the issue of losing weight. To have that awareness that we are definitely in the process of becoming lighter and thinner is an immediate weight of our mind. This aids in our bodies acceptance that it is going to do things and accept things in a different way than in the past.
The reason that hypnotherapy is such a good tool to breaking those old unwanted eating habits is that it addresses those issues above, and finds ways tailored to your particular needs of directing you in the direction of change. It's actually all about breaking old unwanted habits and replacing them with new and desired behaviours. In effect, taking back complete control of your life.

Hypnotherapy has the potential to make you start thinking differently about yourself and your behaviours and to help you build healthy new habits.

Of course if we take a particular pleasure away from you, we must replace it with something else or we will leave a void. An overall healthy lifestyle is the answer here - and again, each persons idea of a healthy lifestyle is different. For some it might consist of some kind of physical challenges, like mountain climbing, cross country running or running the marathon. For others it might be just regular gentle exercise with the focus upon keeping their blood pressure down or alleviating arthritic pains. But at the end of the day, it is about being comfortable with your lifestyle and the people around you. You will then not have any unconscious desires for finding ways to compensate for what is lacking in your life as hypnotherapy can direct you towards total fulfillment.

Comfort eating will not be necessary as there is no longer excess stress in your life.
You have the courage to go after your goals.
Your self-esteem is high, you know that you are capable of a lot and aware of your achievements.
